An Arizona native, Mira grew up in the mystical mountains of Sedona, riding horses and searching for magical crystals. She now loves paddling, hiking, and biking in northwest Montana. Her first horse was an off-the-track thoroughbred who taught her many valuable lessons. Mira has a masters in sustainability science from Arizona State University and she currently manages projects for the Global Locust Initiative. When she’s not writing, Mira loves to adventure with her husband and rescue pup.
